Returns and Refunds

The short version

Stocked goods can come back within 30 days if they are unused and in their original packaging. Made-to-measure and special-order items cannot, because they were built for your job. Anything faulty or wrongly supplied is our problem to put right, at our cost.

Before you send anything back

Email estimating@skfenceco.com or call (928) 314-4210 with your order number and what you want to return. We will confirm the return and tell you where to send it or when to bring it to the Yuma yard. Goods sent back without that confirmation may not be credited.

What we can accept

Unused stocked fittings, hardware, pipe and accessories in resaleable condition, in the original packaging, within 30 days of delivery or collection, with proof of purchase.

What we cannot accept

Fabricated gates, custom shade structures, cut-to-length material and any other made-to-measure or special-order item. Goods that have been installed, cut, drilled, painted or otherwise modified. Goods returned after 30 days. Items missing parts or packaging.

Return carriage

If the goods are faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, we pay the freight and arrange collection. If you simply changed your mind or over-ordered, the return carriage is yours, and a deduction may apply where repackaging is needed to make the item saleable again.

Damaged or short deliveries

Inspect every shipment before you sign for it. Note damage or missing pieces on the carrier paperwork at the time of delivery and tell us within 48 hours. A clean signed delivery receipt makes a freight claim very hard to win.

Refunds

Once the goods are back and checked, we refund to the original payment method within ten business days. Original delivery charges are refunded only where the fault was ours. Your bank may take a few days more to show the credit.

Warranty claims

A warranty claim is not a return. Manufactured goods carry the manufacturer warranty stated on the product page, and our workmanship is warranted for the period stated on your contract. Send photographs and the order or contract number to estimating@skfenceco.com and we will take it from there.

Deposits

Deposits on made-to-measure work are refundable until fabrication starts. After that they are not, because the material has been cut for you.
